Dr. Issam Nouaouri is a Full Professor at the University of Artois and a member of the Laboratory of Computer Engineering and Automation of Artois (LGI2A). He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Automation from the University of Artois, as well as a Research Master’s degree and an Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering from the National Engineering School of Tunis (ENIT).

His research focuses on smart mobility, optimization of industrial and healthcare systems, and the application of artificial intelligence in healthcare. He has led and contributed to numerous collaborative projects at regional, national, and international levels, particularly in industrial engineering, operations research, AI for healthcare systems, and sustainable logistics.

Professor Nouaouri also plays important academic and scientific leadership roles, serving as administrative and scientific coordinator for several academic programs and research initiatives. He is the author of numerous publications in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences, and regularly serves as an expert reviewer and member of scientific committees for international research projects and journals.
