The International Conference on Optimization and Information Systems (COSI) aims to bring together researchers in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, primarily from the fields of combinatorial optimization, graph theory, information systems, and artificial intelligence. The 18th edition of COSI, to be held in Batna from May 12 to May 14, 2026, will be hosted by the University of Batna 2. This continues the long-standing series of successful conferences previously organized in Tizi-Ouzou (2004), Bejaia (2005), Algiers (2006), Oran (2007), Tizi-Ouzou (2008), Annaba (2009), Ouargla (2010), Guelma (2011), Tlemcen (2012), Algiers (2013), Bejaia (2014), Oran (2015), Setif (2016), Bouira (2017), Oran (2018), Tizi-Ouzou (2019), and Bejaia (2025).COSI fosters a friendly, engaging environment for discussions and exchanges among researchers from diverse backgrounds. Continuing its tradition, the 2026 edition will feature high-profile invited talks by international experts, presentation of original research papers, and demonstrations of innovative research prototypes.
